Now that I have the Jeep back, I’m feeling less grumpy ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ), so I’ll share some pics from a car show I caught Saturday morning !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
(For anyone unfamiliar with Indiana geography, which I hope is most of you, that’s a weak joke. Madison is as far south as you can get without reaching Kentucky. Sorta. The Ohio River flows southwest so you can get farther south while staying in Indiana but damn this dead horse isn’t responding to my flogging so anyway.)
Let’s start with the sole Jeep. It’s depressing how few Jeeps I ever find at car shows, but at least this was a beauty.

The good news is that Madison is a haven for classic convertibles, and they were well-represented.

And some classic trucks.

And a very cool VW.

And finally some dribs and drabs.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
And as a bonus, something I spotted in a parking lot last night.

I kept reading Madison and thinking you were in my neck of the woods, which had me wondering where I missed a show.

I spend a lot of time near my Madison, so you’d best get used to it!

Those first gen Vo yager/Caravans had nice (straight) lines — just like my Jaguar??? It qualifies!
I think I mentioned before when I was growing up we had an 87 yellow and wood shortie , a blue 90 grand and later a black 95 “Sport” with the 3.3. And I knew at least 3 people who still were DD manual 1st gens in the late 90s
